Two buses have collided in Bukedea district, eastern Uganda with heavy casualties.
The accident happened at Kacumbala, according to reports.
The Gateway bus coming from Moroto to Kampala collided with the Wanagon bus which was coming from Kampala and heading to Soroti.
The number of casualties from the Tuesday night accident is not yet established.
An eyewitness said rescuers were simply “cutting passengers out of the buses”.
