Police have released composite photos of two out of three people suspected to have planted a bomb that killed one person and injured others at Digida Pork Joint in Komamboga, Kampala.

According to Police Spokesperson CP Fred Enanga, the composite photos were described by witnesses who saw them (suspects) at Komamboga, during the bomb attack of October, 23, 2021, at around 8.30pm.

Enanga added, “We want to inform the public that the composite photos were drawn by our Forensic photo montage Expert, using basic descriptions given by eye witnesses, who provided the distinctive physical descriptions of the suspects.”

He reminded the public that these are just composite photos and not the actual photos of the suspects.

Enanga requested anyone who recognises the physical details of the suspects to inform the police on telephone contacts 112/999 or 0800122291.

He noted that the operations conducted so far, have disrupted some of the real threats posed by the terrorists.

Enanga, also revealed that operations to dismantle the terrorists’ sleeper cells in the country are still ongoing with several people already in their custody.
