Makindye chief magistrate, Erias Kakooza has pushed hearing of the case where Brian Kirumira alias Bryan White is accused of shooting businessman, Bitwiire Victor to March 5 this year.
This followed the request of state prosecutor, Jackie Akawo to have the matter adjournned to enable the main witnesses testify since he has not been in good health condition.
On adjourning the matter, the magistrate ordered the prosecution to provide the defense with all the evidence to be relied on. Last year, the defense had raised concern that they have never been served.
After court, Bryan White left in a procession that included musicians and boda boda riders to Munyonyo where he is set to address the press.
Bryan White and his bodyguard, Thomas Okoth, a police officer attached to Kabalagala police station are facing charges of attempted murder.
Prosecution alleges that on December 13 last year, at Munyonyo Buziga, Makindye division in Kampala district, Bryan White and Okoth attempted to murder businessman Bitwiire contrary to section 204 of the Penal Code Act.
