CANAL+ has confirmed that the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026 (WAFCON) will be broadcast live on SuperSport across Sub-Saharan Africa. Africa’s biggest women’s football tournament, set for July 26 to August 16, 2026, rescheduled from March, will be hosted across five venues in Rabat and Casablanca.
All 34 matches of the tournament will be available to Access customers on DStv, DStv Stream, GOtv & GOtv Stream, meaning more people will be able to enjoy the celebration of African women’s football.
The 2026 CAF WAFCON edition is the biggest in terms of participating African nations, having been expanded by the Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) from 12 to 16 teams. The tournament also doubles as a CAF qualifying competition for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup, with the semi-finalists qualifying directly and two finalists advancing to a qualifying playoff tournament.
CANAL+ Africa and MultiChoice Group CEO, David Mignot, said: “CANAL+ is delighted to confirm that the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2026 will be broadcast on our SuperSport channels on DStv and GOtv throughout Sub-Saharan Africa.
This event marks our third major football tournament since our merger with the MultiChoice Group, and it cements our status as the best place to watch local sports and entertainment on the continent. We look forward to bringing another superb event to our subscribers and football fans in Africa, as we did with the spectacular FIFA World Cup 2026™ and the Men’s TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.”
DStv and GOtv subscribers will be able to catch all the action live on SS Football Plus (DStv Channel 222). Up-to-the-minute updates will be available on SuperSport.com as well as SuperSport Blitz.
