Vivo Energy Uganda Celebrates Continued Success with Shell Select Suppliers

Vivo Energy Uganda recently held its third Annual Shell Select Suppliers Conference, bringing together key suppliers from the Shell Select and Shop network. 

The event celebrated the company’s continued growth and success since the Covid-19 pandemic, while highlighting new opportunities for suppliers to expand their businesses through Vivo Energy’s ongoing transformation.

The conference focused on Vivo Energy Uganda’s initiatives, including; Network Expansion, Standardization of Shop Look and Feel, Customer Experience and Big Data.

Alinafe Mkavea, Chief Commercial Officer at Vivo Energy, emphasized the positive impact of network expansion on the business. 

“The company’s focus on automation to improve stock management, streamline transactions, and enhance service delivery have been key to ensuring operational efficiency and a superior customer experience,” she said.

Joanita Menya Mukasa, Managing Director at Vivo Energy Uganda, expressed appreciation to the company’s suppliers, noting, “Your dedication and partnership have been instrumental in the continued success of Shell Select.” 

“Vivo Energy’s year-on-year growth has remained consistent compared to the previous year, a remarkable achievement that reflects the strong collaboration between Vivo Energy and its suppliers,” she added.

Vivo Energy Uganda highlighted key strategic priorities for future growth, including: Expanding Network Footprint, Diversifying Retail Offerings and Standardizing Retail Experience.

The company also made commitments towards driving innovation, expanding opportunities, and supporting suppliers in growing their revenues across the Shell Select/Shop network.
