Museveni Promotes 469 UPDF Officers

President Museveni, who is also the Commander-in-Chief of the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces, has promoted 469 and confirmed 28 Senior and Junior officer ranks of the UPDF.

“The Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs and UPDF fraternity congratulate the Senior and Junior Officers upon their well-deserved promotions and confirmed ranks,” said army spokesperson, Brig Gen Felix Kulayigye, while announcing the promotions on Thursday morning.
