The Guinness Matchday on Tour kicked off in style at the Zoe grounds, treating football fans to an unforgettable experience. Despite a weather-related postponement of the highly anticipated Merseyside Derby, fans were still treated to thrilling live action on Guinness’ customised football truck.

The truck’s massive screen brought every moment of football magic to life, showcasing matches like Crystal Palace’s nail-biting draw with Manchester City and Nottingham Forest’s stunning 3-2 triumph over Manchester United.

Guinness Brand Manager, Rogers Kasozi, expressed his excitement about the tour’s roaring start.

“Today has been an amazing experience, the first of its kind for our fans. Guinness Matchday on Tour is all about bringing epic football moments to the people who love them most.”

The event wasn’t just about football; legendary rapper Mun G took fans on an unforgettable musical journey, performing hits like “My Rules” and “Sente Zange”. DJ Alza and DJ Marco added to the excitement with electrifying DJ mixes.

The action continues on Day Two, with Arsenal vs. Fulham and Chelsea in action. Azawi will headline the night with an electrifying performance. With epic match screenings, interactive games, and live music, every moment is crafted to keep fans on their feet.

After Kampala, the Guinness Matchday on Tour truck will traverse the country, delivering unforgettable live football experiences to fans far and wide.
