Rines SS registered their first win of the 2022/22 season after stunning Makerere University WFC on matchday six.

In the game played on Saturday at Makerere Main pitch, the visitors picked a surprising 2-1 win.

The consolation goal for the University was scored by captain Josephine Ndagire who was returning from suspension.

Despite winning, Rines SS remain bottom of the log on 3 points.

Kawempe Muslim failed to pick maximum points off Asubo Gafford Ladies FC as the latter fought hard to pick a point at home.

Shakira Nyinagahirwa had given Kawempe the lead at Kampala Quality Playground but the home side found the equalizer through Madina Nakayi.

Kampala Queens maintained their perfect start with a sixth straight win against Olila High School.

The game played on Sunday at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru was watched by FUFA President, Hon. Magogo Moses Hassim, who also doubles as Kampala Queens patron.

He was in the company of the Speaker of Parliament of Uganda, Rt. Hon. Annet Anita Among.

Zaina Nandede and Resty Nanziri scored in the first half to guide the Queens of Soccer to victory.

Uganda Martyrs continued to impress with yet another home victory, this time against free-falling UCU Lady Cardinals.

The Lubaga-based outfit earned a comfortable 4-1 win to move to second place on 13 points, five behind leaders Kampala Queens.

Kevin Nakacwa, Latifa Nakasi, Catherine Nagadya and Sumaya Nalumu were all on target for Uganda Martyrs in the rout.

Kevin Nakacwa is in action against UCU Lady Cardinals.

Ashiat Nalugwa got the consolation for UCU Lady Cardinals who have now gone three games without a win.

Elsewhere, defending Champions She Corporate were held to a one-all draw at home by Lady Doves.

Evelyn Nandera had given Lady Doves the lead just four minutes after kickoff but Joanita Ainembabazi equalized for the hosts at the stroke of halftime.
