A fire outbreak has been reported at Uganda National Cultural Centre also known as National Theatre.
“National Theatre on fire,” reported BBS TV multimedia journalist Culton Scovia Nakamya on Sunday afternoon.
According to the reports, the fire gutted the shops within the gardens.

The cause of the fire has not yet been established.
Uganda Police Fire Brigade officers were seen trying to put out the flames that were ravaging the shops.
The officers later managed to put out the fire which destroyed property worth millions of shillings.
Detectives from the Uganda Police Fire Department and Rescue Support are on the ground to investigate the cause of this fire.
