Kyadondo East MP, Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine) has been arrested, according to one of his brothers, known to many as Dax Vibez.

Bobi Wine was reportedly arrested on Thursday afternoon shortly after his arrival at Entebbe International Airport. He arrived at Entebbe from the U.S at around 1pm on Thursday.

The legislator’s brother, Dax Vibez was using his phone to record a video from inside the airplane.

From the footage, people can be seen walking through the aisle towards the exit of the plane but while they were disembarking, the video recording appears to have been interrupted and went off focus.

Later, the video resumed its focus and someone could be heard repeatedly stating that “Hon Kyagulanyi has been arrested. People, wherever you are, Hon Kyagulanyi has been arrested”.

It remains to be confirmed what his location is at the moment.

Earlier on Thursday, security including Police and the military had deployed heavily along Entebbe road. It followed a warning on Wednesday by Police spokesperson, SSP Emilian Kayima that security would not allow any procession to escort Bobi Wine from the airport to Kampala as planned by his supporters.

This is a developing story..
