According to Obore, the account was on Saturday, March 18, 2023.

“Good morning. Please take note that Hon Dicksons Kateshumbwa’s account has been hacked into, and attempts are underway to recover it. Please disregard all tweets from the handle for now,” Obore tweeted.

This followed a spate of tweets, creating suspicion, posted on the MP’s official Twitter handle.

The account had shared some messages that were allegedly sent to Kateshumbwa, by different people, but also threatened to expose more people.

The MP’s profile bio was changed with someone identified as Hogo running the account.

“Call me Hogo, u can call text or WhatsApp me on +1 (276) 258-9991 and save that number so that you can see my hacks we’re exposing more government officials on the 19th,” the bio reads.

The hacker went ahead to advertise his/her services, suggesting they could help people hack into the accounts of government officials, politicians and cheating partners.

“We are now going to hack these guys in power they have been hacking us. We shall expose them. An eye for an eye in case you want to hack any politician or person in government and get even just WhatsApp or telegram me +1 (276) 258-9991. Let’s hack them and expose DMs,” the tweet read.
