Africa’s top strategy professionals, policymakers, and business leaders will converge in Kampala later this month for the IASP Africa Regional Conference 2025, a premier gathering focused on shaping the continent’s future through innovative strategy and collaboration.
The two-day conference, hosted by the International Association for Strategy Professionals (IASP) in partnership with its Uganda and Nigeria Chapters, will take place at the Imperial Royale Hotel from October 30–31, 2025.
Held under the theme “Shaping Africa’s Future Through Strategies for Inclusive Growth, Digital Transformation, and Sustainable Development,” the event will address key challenges influencing Africa’s development trajectory. It will serve as a strategic platform to explore practical approaches for driving economic resilience, empowering youth, and leveraging technology and sustainability for long-term growth — all in line with the African Union’s Agenda 2063.
Innocent M. Agaba, President of the IASP Uganda Chapter, emphasised the significance of the gathering: “Africa has the talent, ambition, and ideas to lead in innovation and growth. What we need now are deliberate strategies and partnerships to turn potential into measurable impact. This conference is where those strategies will take shape.”

Echoing this, Dr Samuel Aikhuomogbe, President of the IASP Nigeria Chapter, underscored the importance of regional collaboration: “This is more than a conference—it is a call to action. By aligning our efforts across borders, we can unlock Africa’s full potential and position the continent as a global leader in innovation and sustainable development.”
The conference will feature keynote addresses from leading global and regional figures in strategy and innovation, panel discussions, and interactive workshops designed to equip participants with actionable insights. It will also provide opportunities for networking, collaboration, and partnership-building among professionals, policymakers, and industry players from across Africa and beyond.
