With hands raised and voices lifted in worship, over 200,000 believers gathered at Miracle Centre Cathedral in Rubaga for Day 1 of the Benny Hinn “Miracle Healing Crusade”, marking the world-renowned televangelist’s third visit to Uganda.
“I am not the same Benny Hinn of 10 years ago. The Word has changed me,” Pastor Benny Hinn declared to thunderous applause as he took the stage alongside host Pastor Robert Kayanja.

In what Hinn described as a “glorious night,” thousands reported miraculous healings—throat cancer vanishing, blind eyes opening, and chronic pain disappearing—as the crowd overflowed the massive cathedral grounds, with 60,000 people reportedly lining up as early as 8:00 AM for the 7:00 PM service.

“Precious people, something extraordinary is happening in Uganda,” Pastor Hinn shared on X (formerly Twitter). “The Power of God came down like a mighty river… This is the move we’ve prayed for — and it’s only just begun.”

The crusade, which has drawn believers from 14 nations including China, the Netherlands, India, Burundi, South Sudan, the DRC, and Rwanda, continues through the weekend. Over 10,000 pastors are also attending the event, standing in unity and prayer for healing and spiritual revival in the region.

To support the large-scale gathering, Equity Bank Uganda earlier donated UGX 50 million to Miracle Centre Cathedral, reinforcing its commitment to community and faith-based initiatives.

“Dear sweet people of God, my heart is full,” Hinn said in a follow-up message to his global audience. “What Jesus did for these precious souls… He can do for you.”

The three-day crusade continues to stir excitement and spiritual fervour across Kampala and beyond, as testimonies pour in and multitudes anticipate what Pastor Hinn calls “a divine outpouring that will shake nations.”
