The inaugural Tusker Sauce of the Nile Festival transformed the breathtaking Nile Park Resort into a vibrant entertainment hub, showcasing Uganda’s rich cultural heritage and premium entertainment.
As the sun set over the Nile, the festival kicked off with an electrifying Emmanice DJ set, drawing partygoers to the riverside. Hypeman MC Tender’s energetic voice commanded the attention of the crowd, who flocked to the venue to experience the fusion of traditional and modern sounds.
“This festival is the perfect platform to celebrate life’s bold, refreshing moments and showcase Jinja’s beauty with premium experiences that resonate with our consumers,” said Peter Ekwang, project lead from Tusker Lager.
The festival featured a diverse lineup of performers, including Emma Sax, Lagum, Max Noir, and Kohen Jaycee, who delivered captivating instrumental sessions and musical mashups that blended traditional sounds with modern beats. The crowd was also treated to a heartfelt Mowzey Tribute, honoring the legend and uniting the audience in shared nostalgia.
To ensure the good times never stopped, revellers enjoyed massive discounts on drinks throughout the festival, with irresistible offers that kept the energy high and the party going well into the night.
Beyond entertainment, the festival aims to significantly benefit the local community and businesses in Jinja. Through a partnership with the Naluubale Foundation, Tusker Lager is ensuring the community thrives long after the music fades.
“Tusker Lager is committed to tapping into the tourism potential of Jinja and establishing the Tusker Sauce of the Nile Festival as a premier destination event on Uganda’s entertainment scene,” said Ekwang.
