The truck is said to have been carrying wall tiles.

The dead have been identified as Makumbi Ibrahim (driver), Ojore David while another unidentified person was damaged beyond recognition. One survivor is currently in critical condition at Nsambya hospital where he was rushed.

Police rushed to the scene and removed the wreckage of the car from the drainage after three hours of hard work. The process was aided by residents who were first at the scene.

This is a developing story.
