Uganda’s public broadcaster, UBC has announced that they will relay Uganda Cranes World Cup Qualifiers match against Amavubi Stars of Rwanda.
The game will kick off on Thursday evening 7pm from Nyamirambo Stadium in Kigali Rwanda.
“UBC will tonight between 7:00pm to 8:45pm broadcast the World Cup Qualifiers game, Rwanda Vs Uganda from Rwanda’s Capital Kigali,” announced UBC.
“The game will strictly be accessed via free to air and Azam Decoders. We regret all inconvenience caused,” adds the national broadcaster.
This is the first leg of the regional derby in next year’s FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Qualifiers with the second leg to be played on October 10th in Kampala.
Uganda kicked off their campaign with a goalless draw in Kenya and another barren stalemate in their second outing in the group, at home to Mali, one of the strongest sides in Africa right now.
Mali are topping Group E on four points, just two ahead of Kenya and Uganda. Rwanda sits bottom with only a point.
