Vivo Energy Uganda has officially reopened its Shell Lugogo service station in Kampala. The newly refurbished, is part of Vivo Energy Uganda’s commitment to providing high-quality, reliable services and products to its valued customers.

The refurbishment of Shell Lugogo service station kicked off in September 2024 and was completed in December. It underwent a comprehensive upgrade and expansion of its facilities to accommodate the growing vehicular traffic and customers accessing associated fuelling, shopping with a range of products, and dining services.

Among the key upgraded services include the introduction of new, state-of-the-art fuel pumps with the orientation of the fuelling lanes modernised to ease traffic flow and provide more parking space at the station.

The service bay area which offers quick oil change services, has similarly undergone an expansion, while the main office and Select shop building have had an additional storey added to accommodate financial services and two restaurants – KFC and Java House – that gives customers a wider choice of dining as well as a more pleasant and efficient experience.

Hans Paulsen, Executive Vice President, East, of Vivo Energy, said: “Our journey doesn’t stop here. “The reopening of Shell Lugogo Service Station emphasises our dedication to supporting Uganda’s growing fuel and energy demands while offering an enhanced, more convenient service to our customers,” she added.

Joanita emphasised the customer experience, stating: “We envision our Shell stations as the ultimate customer shopping destination offering one stop shopping for home essentials, dining and other convenience retail services, besides fuelling and motoring needs.”

The service station offers Shell’s world-renowned fuel products, including Shell V-Power, Shell FuelSave, Lubricant and Shell Gas, known for their quality and performance.
