Uganda People’s Defence Force [UPDF] spokesperson, Brig Richard Karemire, has lost his father, Mzee Mark Karemire.
“The family of Brigadier Richard Karemire with deep sorrow announces the death of their father Mzee Mark Karemire which occurred this morning 8/8/17 in Kampala,” reads the family announcement.
Brig Karemire said the vigil for the deceased will be held in Kiwatule tonight on Nabe Road before Naalya roundabout.
There will be a church service tomorrow, Wednesday at St. Charles Lwanga Church Ntinda at 10am in the morning.
Mzee Karemire will be buried on Thursday at Kanyamatambara, Mushanga in Sheema District.
Mzee Karemire was a magistrate. He retired in 1986 after serving in many parts of Ankole such as Mitooma, Sheem, Buhweju and Isingiro districts.
