The African Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCA) has announced the nominees for its 9th edition, and Pearl Magic is proud to have its commissioned series featured in multiple categories.
The nominated series are Prestige for Best Original Telenovela, Kan See Me for Best Scripted Original, POPI for Best Comedy Series, and Juniors’ Drama Club for Best Original Drama Series.
The AMVCA celebrates the best in African television and film across diverse genres, and Pearl Magic’s commissioned series have been recognized for their outstanding performances and exceptional storytelling. With four nominations, the channel is one of the leading contenders for the prestigious awards.

This edition is a 3-day event with the award show on May 20 and will be broadcast live across all Africa Magic channels on DStv and GOtv. The winners will be decided by a panel of judges headed by veteran filmmaker Femi Odugbemi and through public votes.
