The Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) has announced a revised release schedule for several key economic, education and social survey reports expected this month.

The statement, signed by the Executive Director and Chief Statistician, Dr Chris N. Mukiza, was read to the media on Wednesday by Didacus Okoth, the Principal Public Relations Officer and Spokesperson for UBOS.

According to the Bureau, the Uganda Business Inquiry 2019/2020 report will be published online on May 21, 2026, at 8:00 am.

UBOS also confirmed that the Uganda Harmonised Indicator Survey (UHIS) reports covering Wave I and Wave II for the period 2021–2024, as well as Wave III for 2025, will also be released on the same day.

The Baseline Education Census (BEC) Report 2025 is scheduled for release on May 28, 2026.

The Bureau further noted that the Uganda Aquaculture Census (UAC) Report 2025 had already been successfully released on April 30, 2026.

Today’s press conference reinforces the Bureau’s commitment to quality statistical production as it was communicated by the Executive Director during the launch of Aquaculture Census Report when he infomed the public of further revision of the release calendar to cater for all data demands in the statistical ecosystem.

He thanked the public, researchers, policymakers and development partners for utilising statistical products released by the institution for planning, research and public debate.

Among the major reports released between March and April 2026 are the Uganda Malaria Indicator Survey (UMIS) Report 2025, published on March 12, the National Population and Housing Census 2024 Community Module released on April 9, the Labour Market Survey Report 2025 released on April 16, and the National Human Resource (Manpower) Survey Report 2023/24 published on April 23.

UBOS reminded the public that all statistical products and regular updates, including Consumer Price Indices (CPI) and quarterly Gross Domestic Product (GDP) estimates, are accessible through the Bureau’s official website.
