On Saturday September 14, Uganda Breweries Ltd (UBL) hosted several industry captains and business moguls as they relaunched the highly anticipated Johnnie Walker Blue Club. The landmark event, held at the picturesque Pineapple Bay Island, marked a significant moment in Uganda’s business landscape.
The exclusive Club is a premier networking platform designed to foster meaningful connections and unlock new opportunities for its members. A reserve for individuals who epitomize excellence and distinction, the club offers meticulously curated events, that seamlessly merge business discourse with refined luxury and the re-launch on Saturday was nothing short of exceptional.
From the moment the guests boarded at the scenic Lake Victoria Serena Resort at Kigo, it was evident that the event exuded elegance. Upon arrival, guests were greeted with a long blue carpet, and a range of exquisitely crafted Johnnie Walker cocktails, setting the stage for a day of relaxation, refinement, and deep conversations.
The afternoon kicked off with a whisky mentorship and tasting session, highlighting the rich flavours of the iconic Johnnie Walker Blue Label. During this session, guests were guided through the art of savouring the finest whiskies, with particular focus on Johnnie Walker Blue Label, learning and unlearning the delicate nuances of enjoying undoubtedly one of the world’s most iconic and rarest whisky to date.
Co-hosted by Mr. Amos Nzeyi, the Chairman of Crown Beverages Ltd, the relaunch welcomed distinguished figures like Buganda Prince David Wassajja, Heads of Uganda’s leading Financial Institutions, Board Chairs from distinguished private sector entities and renown business moguls.

UBL Managing Director Andrew Kilonzo, expressed gratitude to the guests for taking time off their busy schedules to attend the relaunch.
