Several ambulances have been spotted rushing the victims of the explosion to the nearest health facilities for first aid and referral.

According to the Ministry of Health, spokesperson, Emmanuel Ainebyoona, 27 casualties are being treated at Mulago National Referal hospital, and of these, 7 are in a critical condition.

He revealed that most of the casualties at Mulago hospital, they are police officers, probably from the CPS explosion.

The explosions follow a series of blasts that have rocked Uganda in the last couple of weeks.

The blasts claimed lives of two people and left others injured.

Security agencies have since attributed the attacks to the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) sleeper cells.
This is a developing story.
