The Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Rt Hon. Anitah Among has said that Speaker Rt Hon. Jacob Oulanyah is receiving and responding to treatment at an American hospital.
Rt Hon. Oulanyah has since February 3, 2022, been admitted at a specialized facility in Seattle, Washington State.
Earlier, Democratic Party President Norbert Mao also urged the public to pray for Hon Oulanyah and also respect his privacy and that of his family.
He said the Speaker was very ill.
“I’m with the CJ, the D/Speaker, the Health Minister & the Speaker’s brother in Seattle where the Speaker is hospitalized. A man who is very ill deserves our prayers. Above all let’s respect his privacy and that of his family. The D/Speaker will soon issue a statement. It is well!”

So are My ways higher than your ways,
