Simon Kaheru has been appointed Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) Group Head of Public and Partnerships.
The appointment is contained in a memo dated February 3, 2022 by Tshidi Ramogase, Group Public Affairs, Communication & Sustainability Director.

In the new role, Kaheru will be responsible for leading and shaping Public Policy, developing strategic partnerships and building relationships and advocacy in collaboration with all PACS practitioners across the Group and in partnerships with the Coca-Cola Company’s AOU Public Policy and Regulatory teams.
“This is a critical role as we aim to elevate our impact on the continent, collaborating and co-creating with regional stakeholders, industry bodies, and other strategic partners. Our vision to refresh Africa every day and make the continent a better place for all is highly dependent on our ability to form and leverage meaningful and impactful partnerships and contribute to the development of meaningful and common solutions that benefit all stakeholders.”
“Simon likes reading and writing and the only part of his life he finds more important than promoting his country is spending time with his wife, Josephine, their three children, Muzima, Musana and Mshukuru as well as his extended family. I look forward to working with Simon in his new role and I am certain that he will receive and experience the collaborative spirit of CCBA as he seeks to connect and co-create with all markets and their critical stakeholders and partners. Simon will need everyone’s support and collaboration to excel and I know he can rely on their OME CCBA spirit to progress the ONE CCBA agenda,” Tshidi concluded.
