Singer Sheebah Karungi has announced her own music record label.
The record label is dubbed “Karma Music”.
“Yassss! Your Queen officially owns a music label! WHAAAT!!” she tweeted.
She even hinted at a talent search to groom her own breed of artists.
“It’s about THAT TIME I Mentor my own artists! I can’t say much right now but stay tuned!”
Sheebah who has been in the music industry for over a decade, becomes the first female artist to pull off the feat.
“I’m the first female [musician] to own a music record label [in Uganda],” she said in a Twitter video.
The development comes ahead of Swagga Mama’s music battle against The King Herself, Cindy Sanyu.
“Sheebah and I have a battle coming up. We are about to make history,” Sanyu told NTV.
She added: “It is the first female battle in the industry. I think it is an inspiration to women.”
The ‘Mukodo’ singer dismissed the talk that there is bad blood between her and Sheebah.
“Sheebah and I are not physical enemies. We talk,” she clarified.
