Salam Charity has supported the construction of Nakaloke Center Mosque in Mbale district with a Cheque of Shs 100 million.
The team led by the Salam Charity Foundation and Salam TV General Manager, Hajji Karim Kaliisa, also mobilised over Shs15 million at Masjid Noor Mbale.
While delivering the cheque, Hajji Karim Kaliisa noted that Salam charity has so far contributed over Shs300 million towards the construction of the Mosque.
He asked for more support from well-wishers to complete the project, “We need to work together as a team to build Nakaloke Centre Mosque.”
Meanwhile, Hajji Hirome, the Chairperson construction committee of Nakaloke Centre Mosque, said, “By building a mosque for the sake of Allah is a deed that will always bring great rewards, both here and in the hereafter. No matter the little you contribute.”
“By contributing towards the construction of the Nakaloke Centre Mosque, you will receive rewards for every person who enters to worship, recite the Quran, supplicate, and more,” said Sheikh Luutu Sulaiman Wandera, the Imam of Masjid Noor Mbale.
