Rwanda President Paul Kagame is enroute Uganda to attend the 48th birthday celebrations of Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
Days ago, the UPDF Land Forces Commander confirmed that the Rwandan president would grace his Sunday April 24 celebration.
“I am very happy to announce that my uncle, the very great Commander, President and Leader of Rwanda will be attending my birthday celebration,” Muhoozi tweeted recently.
President Kagame last visited Uganda in March 2018.
SoftPower News has learnt exclusively that President Kagame is already enroute Uganda.
“He has already set off,” a source told SoftPower News on Sunday afternoon.
According to sources, President Kagame will attend the birthday dinner this evening at State House to be hosted by President Museveni.
Gen Muhoozi has widely been lauded for his role in restoring Uganda – Rwanda relations.
