A statement by Goodlyfe Management says that Radio was badly beaten causing him brain injury.

Egesa, a bar owner in Entebbe, together with another unidentified employee of the same bar are accused of assaulting the singer on Monday night between 9pm and 9:30pm while he was at the bar.

“Moses was subjected to a very vicious and unprovoked assault by an employee or associate of Egesa,” the statement read in part.

The statement further states that prior to the assault, there had been an exchange of words as Moses was exiting the bar to return to Kampala before the assailant attacked.

According to the account given by the Goodlyfe Management, the assault resulted into a severe brain injury on Radio which requires medical attention.

Radio was quickly taken to Emanuel Clinic along Entebbe Road before being admitted to Nsambya Hospital and later Case Hospital where he underwent surgery at 2:30am on Tuesday morning.

Goodlyfe who have said their legal advisors would pursue charges of attempted murder against the accused, call on fans to ignore rumours that Radio is in a critical condition.
