Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) is holding its second Annual Women’s Katale where women and girls that are entrepreneurs will have a chance to showcase their businesses.
The two-day event is taking place from Friday and Saturday 10th-11th March 2023, at the Uganda Manufacturers’ Association (UMA) Multi-purpose Hall in Kampala, and it will feature networking between entrepreneurs, market access, and social and business development skills acquisition.
The Women Katale Season 2 will commemorate International Women’s Day and has been organized by PSFU in collaboration with Mastercard Foundation’s Young Africa Works (YAW) initiative.
This year’s Katale is in line with PSFU’s mission which is “to enhance business growth and competitiveness for sustainable wealth creation and shared value.”
It is intended to recognize the contribution and potential of women and girls as entrepreneurs.
The ‘Katale’ is a result of synergies between private sector key players and development partners such as the Mastercard Foundation in driving social impact and positive economic change.
