The GROW Loan is expected to empower individuals and enterprises with flexible financing solutions tailored to meet real business needs, enabling them to expand operations, increase productivity, and create employment opportunities.

Speaking at the launch event, Veronica Namagembe, the Managing Director, emphasised the institution’s commitment to transforming livelihoods through accessible financial services.

“The launch of the GROW Loan in Soroti reflects our unwavering commitment to bring financial services closer to the people. We are not just financing businesses; we are investing in dreams, families, and the future of this region,” Namagembe said.

He further noted that Pride remains focused on delivering practical financial solutions that respond to the evolving needs of customers, particularly in underserved and emerging markets.

A representative from the Board reaffirmed the institution’s strategic direction and governance support for initiatives that deepen financial inclusion.

“We fully endorse the GROW Loan initiative as a strategic enabler of economic empowerment. Our focus is to ensure that every expansion we make translates into real, measurable impact in the communities we serve,” noted Joseph Feta, Business Head at Pride Bank.

The Head of Business highlighted the product’s customer-centric design, noting its role in addressing financing gaps faced by small and growing businesses.

“From a business standpoint, the GROW Loan is about meeting customers where they are. We have designed this product to be practical, responsive, and aligned with real business needs on the ground,” said Veronica Namagembe, the Managing Director.

He added that streamlined processes and accessible terms will ensure faster turnaround times and improved customer experience.

The GROW Loan launch in Soroti forms part of Pride’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence across the country and support inclusive economic growth.

The institution reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with communities, business owners, and stakeholders to drive sustainable development.
