President Yoweri Museveni has passed out police, prisons and military officers who have been undergoing a political education training course.
The President on Friday presided over the pass out ceremony of a total of 129 officers including 32 police officers that have completed a course in Political Education and Leadership Development Course (PLEDC) at the National leadership Institute, Kyankwanzi.
The officers underwent a two and half months training which is intended to prepare them for a more challenging and enduring work ahead of them.
Components of the course included leadership skills, marksmanship, organization management, mentorship, political education and history of Uganda.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Otoro Japheth from Uganda Police emerged the overall best performer.
