The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Gen Kale Kayihura has made new changes in the senior administration of the Police Force.
In the latest reshuffle effected on Tuesday, Kayihura has transferred the Director of Welfare and Production, Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Haruna Isabirye to head the Directorate of Human Resource Development.
Haruna has subsequently been replaced by AIGP Lenny Twinomugisha who has been the Divisional Commander for Parliamentary Police.
The changes are contained in an interno memo issued by Gen Kale Kayihura which is copied to the Deputy IGP, all Police Directors and heads of departments.
In the same reshuffle, Superintendent of Police (SP) Nyiramahoro Anabera has been made the new Divisional Commander for Parliamentary Police.
According to the memo, the changes take immediate effect.
