“Detectives at police CID headquarters have this morning arrested Isma Olaxes aka Isma Kalevu and Charged him to Court for Offensive Communication and Criminal Libel,” Twiine revealed.

SoftPower News understands that Kalevu is going this afternoon to appear before Buganda Road Court magistrate.

It is alleged that Kalevu together with Sanyuka television presenters Isaac Kawalya alias Kayz, Brian Kennedy Waako and their producer Williams Makuliro alias Mako committed the offences during one of their shows on the same television recently.

Kayz, Mako and Wako were on Friday arrested, appeared before court and remanded to Kitalya government prison until October 15. Police said then that their hunt was on for Kalevu to as well face the law.

Kalevu has consistently used Facebook and other social media platforms as well as his TV appearances to falsely trade in baseless, unfounded allegations against musicians, journalists, government officials and opposition politicians.

Some of the victims of his rants include media personalities Lucky Mbabazi, Joan Lule, Patrick Kanyomozi and opposition politician Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu.

He has on several occasions bragged that he is untouchable and that he has every right to character assassinate anybody, trade in malice with impunity because he belongs to the ruling political party, National Resistance Movement, NRM.
