Season Two of Cheza Dance Idols, a dance competition, finally came to a close over the weekend at the Ugandan national theatre with the top three teams walking out with cash prizes of Shs 1 million going to 24/7 dance crew from Mbarara as the overall winners.
In second position was Hi5 dance crew from Gulu taking home Shs 500,000 and Archers in third position taking Shs 200,000.
The various dance battles opened with a unitary performance comprising of all team members then the showcase went on into individual group performances, creative, street and team leaders battle as the judges sieved the crews to the last one standing.
