KCCA this morning unleashed enforcement officers to the old taxi park to get taxi drivers to pay the monthly charge of Ugx 120,000.
The drivers protested the enforced payment saying President Museveni had stopped KCCA from levying the charges. The drivers embarked on a strike bringing transport in the city to a standstill.
KCCA enforcement officers accompanied by Police were seen mugging the drivers away.
