Pearl Bank (formerly PostBank Uganda) has unveiled its festive campaign, “Pearl Santa,” a joyful initiative designed to celebrate customers at select branches across the country. Pearl Santa will make surprise visits, spreading the warmth and spirit of Christmas.
The holiday season is traditionally a time of togetherness, celebration, and goodwill. Speaking about the campaign, Priscilla Akora, Head of Marketing and Communications at Pearl Bank, said:

“This festive season, we wanted to celebrate our customers in a way that is personal and meaningful. Inviting our very own Pearl Santa into our branches is a fun, heartfelt way to thank our customers for their loyalty and share the joy of the season with them.”
Akora explained that the “Purple Santa” theme aligns with the bank’s corporate identity and primary colour, purple, which symbolises the bank’s transition from PostBank to Pearl Bank.
“The rebrand is more than a name change; it is a renewed promise to serve our customers better. By welcoming Pearl Santa into our branches, we are putting a face to our appreciation and creating moments of human connection that build lasting relationships with our customers,” she added.

Pearl Santa will visit selected branches from December 9th to 23rd, 2025, engaging customers through festive activities, including cake cutting, merry-making, and conversations about the bank’s transition journey.
This initiative marks the first customer engagement under the new Pearl Bank brand and highlights the bank’s commitment to enhancing customer experience by fostering personal and meaningful interactions.
Following the Bank of Uganda’s license approval, Pearl Bank plans to roll out several initiatives aligned with its purpose of fostering prosperity for Ugandans, focusing on two high-impact goals driving sustainable financial inclusion and stimulating entrepreneurship and service.
