Nation Media Group Appoints Geoffrey Odundo as Managing Director and CEO

Nairobi, Kenya – The Board of Directors of Nation Media Group Plc has announced the appointment of Mr Geoffrey Odundo as the new Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective April 7, 2025.

Mr Odundo is a highly accomplished senior executive and investment banker with extensive leadership experience.

He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) from 2015 to 2024, where he spearheaded market innovations and achieved record-breaking milestones in Kenya’s financial markets.

Currently serving as the Group Executive Advisor at CPF Group, Mr Odundo has also held leadership roles, including being the first Chief Executive Officer of Kingdom Securities.

He holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the United States International University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Economics from Egerton University. Additionally, he has earned multiple professional certifications.
