Maro Set To Entertain Revellers During the Fish Festival

Musician Maro is among the top entertainers lined up to perform during this year’s Fish Festival scheduled for May 5 at the Uganda Museum.

Known for his unmatched vocal strength, the ‘Mubbi Bubbi’ singer will be joined by many other artistes to entertain the fish lovers, who will be witnessing and enjoying unique fish types prepared in styles of their choice.

According to organizers, Maro will perform all his songs from yesteryears as well as his latest including Genda Ewamwe, Kyokoba, Mubbi Bubbi, Tonelaga and many others. Organizers are upbeat about the event and they assure that revelers with have quality entertainment while they savour the fish varieties.

The 2018 Fish Festival which is sponsored by among other companies SoftPower News will see all types of fish exhibited including the rare Angara from Pakwatch, Nang Nang, Nile perch from L. Victoria, Mud fish from Eastern Uganda, Mukene from Kyoga and lake Victoria, Lung fish (Mamba) and Cat fish (Mmale).

Leading city restaurants and hotels will showcase their best fish prepared by top chefs in unique styles to expose fish lovers to tasty experiences. The revelers will have chance of chosing their preferred fish varieties as well as determine how they would love it prepared.

Entrance is open to everybody with adults paying Shs 10,000 and children Shs 5,000.
