Owoyesigire says that Elvis Kibuule (murdered boy) was reported to have been kidnapped on January 24, prompting Police to commence investigations into the matter.

He says, the leads pointed to Mukisa who was later arrested and confessed to the murder and kidnap.

On Wednesday, Police recovered the body of the boy from a swamp in Kireka Bbira where it had been dumped. It was taken to Mulago hospital for postmortem.

Owoyesigire adds that, Police later discovered that Mukisa had earlier murdered a woman who was recently reported missing at the Central Police Station in Kampala.

“Later, the suspect also led police officers to the scene where he dumped the body of his girlfriend whom he had killed earlier,” Owoyesigire said.

He adds that “he confessed to the murder by poisoning”.
