Thrones Lounge Bar & Restaurant in conjunction with The Singleton are set to curate one of the grandest ends of month gatherings; The Big Meeting.
Known for sleek for its inviting atmosphere, The Thrones has a reputation of putting up immersive parties, their events are not simple gatherings, they are curated moments and memories.
Inspired by The Big Meeting from Game of Thrones, the event is mainly about participation. Guests won’t simply be served cocktails; they’ll craft their own, guided by expert mixologists and inspired by The Singleton’s rich, smooth single malt.
In the October edition, Gloria Bugie made herself a cocktail with two shots of The Singleton, she said that she wanted it sweet because naturally, she finds it more welcoming to take her whisky that way.
But a mixologist will still be at hand to help those who want to someone else to mix their drinks.
Fans have over the past editions said that an opportunity to make their own cocktails provides them with the liberty to craft drinks that better define them.
The event has been evolving over the years, from live music to some of the best DJs defining the entertainment profile. The last edition for instance celebrated Lynda Ddane’s birthday besides her own set which got people dancing the evening away.
This Sunday, The Big Meeting will be headlined by DJ Kym Nick Dee from Nairobi, Kenya.
With The Singleton in the mix, his music will meet food and whisky to elevate the moment with the right notes.
“The Big Meeting has grown into a space where our consumers don’t just enjoy The Singleton they experience it. Guiding guests as they craft cocktails that reflect their own taste is exactly the kind of immersive, flavour-first moment we love to champion,” says Simon Lapyem, Brand Manager, The Singleton.
