It is alleged that on December 12 at 5pm, Kwikiriza went to Twikyirize’s shop and when she realized that he had stolen the money and keys, Twikyirize made an alarm which attracted other residents who assaulted him badly.

The deceased was then rescued and rushed to Kabale referral hospital where he died three days later.

Those arrested include Doreen Twikyirize (shop owner), 28-year-old Mary Tumworobere and 25-year-old Francis Talizani, all residents of Kekubo cell.

Police is searching for the remaining suspects.

Elly Matte cautioned citizens against taking the law in their own hands.
