H.E. Dr. Mahdi Safari, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of Economic Diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, is in Uganda.
Dr Mahdi is undertaking a working visit to Uganda from 5th – 6th July 2022.
The Minister arrived on Tuesday and was received at Entebbe International Airport by Amb. Katureebe Tayebwa the Head of Regional Economic Cooperation at Foreign Affairs and H.E. Mehdi Salehi, the Iranian Ambassador to Uganda.
The purpose of this visit is to further strengthen bilateral relations and bolster cooperation for the mutual benefit of both countries.
