The event marks a significant step forward in positioning Ugandan coffee on the global stage, with China rapidly emerging as one of the world’s fastest-growing markets for speciality coffee.

Through its participation, Inspire Africa is highlighting Uganda’s rich coffee heritage while engaging investors, distributors, and coffee enthusiasts from across Asia. The team is conducting market research, tasting sessions, and trade negotiations aimed at expanding the presence of Ugandan coffee within the Chinese market.

“Our presence at CIIE is a testament to Uganda’s potential to supply high-quality, traceable, and sustainably grown coffee to the world,” said Dr Nelson Tugume, CEO of Inspire Africa.

“China is a ready and growing market, and this engagement opens doors for greater value addition and improved livelihoods for our farmers back home.”

Uganda’s participation in this prestigious global trade forum underscores the country’s commitment to diversifying export markets, increasing coffee export volumes, and promoting Made-in-Uganda brands. With Inspire Africa leading this effort, Ugandan coffee continues to earn recognition as one of the world’s most distinctive and celebrated brews.
