It was pomp and glamour on November 18, 2023, as the Kyabazinga William Gabula Nadiope IV, tied the knot with the Inhebantu, Her Royal Highness Jovia Mutesi at Christ Cathedral Bugembe.

The marriage was officiated by the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, His Grace Dr. Samuel Steven Kazimba Mugalu.
The two later in the day hosted their guests at a sumptuous reception at Igenge Palace.
In her speech, Inhebantu Mutesi opened up about her first encounter with the Kyabazinga and their romantic journey.

She disclosed that the first meeting occurred during her Senior Six vacation when she found herself at a crossroads regarding her university education.

“Baba (Kyabazinga) is a friend of my brothers, and I met him through them. The first time was when I was confused about which course to pursue at university.”

Makerere University had offered her a course in Economics while Nkozi University presented a course in accounting.

She noted that she was confused on which course she should take and sought the Kyabazinga’s advice.

“I asked myself, should I go to Nkozi or Makerere University. In that confusion, I talked with Baba and he told me that he studied economics. ‘Do accounting and finance if you like it’. I went to Nkozi, studied and completed my degree.”

She added: “I thank God for giving me that confusion, If it wasn’t for that confusion, I doubt I would have met him.”

The Inhebantu graduated in accounting and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the same field.
