Glovo Uganda to Host Inaugural E-commerce Day to Empower SMEs

Glovo Uganda is set to host its inaugural E-commerce Day, a groundbreaking event designed to equip small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with the tools and strategies they need to succeed in the fast-changing digital economy.

Scheduled for December 5, the event will bring together SME owners, industry experts, Glovo partners, and thought leaders alongside local and international brands to foster innovation, unlock growth opportunities, and drive digital transformation across sectors.

Over 1,000 SMEs across Uganda have already leveraged Glovo’s platform to expand their reach, optimize operations, and embrace digital solutions that fuel sustainable growth. This event aims to empower even more businesses to thrive in a competitive digital marketplace.

Participants will take part in interactive workshops, receive expert insights, and connect with others through networking. The inaugural Glovo E-commerce Day is a catalyst for growth, equipping SMEs with lasting tools, actionable strategies, and connections to navigate and lead in Uganda’s rapidly evolving e-commerce ecosystem.

As a major driver of Uganda’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, Glovo aims to bridge gaps in logistics, technology, and market access for SMEs across industries such as food delivery, groceries, retail, and pharmaceuticals.
