First Batch of Artistes for Bayimba Festival Out

Bayimba Festival organizers have released the first batch of artistes lined up to perform at the upcoming event slated for August this year.

The 11th edition of Bayimba festival, one of Uganda’s biggest and most celebrated multi-disciplinary arts festival, enjoyed by fans from all walks of life, background and social strata will take place between August 2 and 5.

“As the festival draws closer, we are ready for 2018 with a wave of productions and performances for its 11th edition. But most importantly, we are moving to a new location and you are coming along with us to Lunkulu Island,’ said Faisal Kiwewa, the founder Bayimba Festival.

Lunkulu Island, the new venue for the festival is on the shores of Lake Victoria off Mukono/Katosi road, 42 kms from Kampala and 60 kms from Jinja, can be easily reached by road as well as accessed by boat.
