Fire Guts Headmaster’s Office at Mbarara View High School

The Police of Mbarara City are investigating a fire outbreak at Mbarara View High School located in Katete Mbarara City South Division.

Rwizi Region Police Spokesperson, ASP Kasasira Samson, said the incident happened Monday morning at around 3am.

The fire gutted the headmaster’s office which also doubles as the staff room and library of the school.

According to Kasasira, the fire damaged property and the roof of the structure but no injuries were registered.

The Police Fire and Rescue team of Mbarara City responded to the scene and extinguished the fire.

“The cause of the fire has not been established yet. Inquiries into the incident are still ongoing,” he noted.
