The Late H.E. Dr Hassan Wasswa Galiwango, will be buried today, Tuesday, January 17, 2023, in Budaka district.
Dr Galiwango was Uganda’s High Commissioner to the Republic of Kenya and Seychelles and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Environment Programme and UN-HABITAT.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the speeches and official ceremony will take place at 2:00pm in Nakaloke, Mbale City, later proceed for burial in Budaka district.
Dr Galiwango died at Nairobi Hospital in Kenya where he had been admitted.
H.E Galiwango was a husband to Hon. Connie Galiwango Nakayenze, Hajat Sheru Galiwango and Masitulah Galiwango.
He also worked as the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Director of Finance and Administration.
