Tanzanian actress, Wama Sepetu also girlfriend to music star, Diamond Platinumz regained her freedom after coughing out Tz Shs 2 million (UgShs 3.2m) to secure her release following her arrest last week for alleged possession and abuse of drugs.

The celebrated movie actress, Sepetu was found guilty of possession and use of illegal drugs with to two other co-accused.

Additional reports according to Tuko News, reveal that the case was heard at the Kisutu Resident Magistrate’s Court and ruling made by Resident Magistrate Thomas Simba on Friday, July 20.

Thomas Simba in his ruling, set free two of Sepetu’s house helpers identified as Angelina Msigwa and Matrida Abass who had been arrest with her on grounds that they were just innocent employees.

However, the burden of guilt was put on Sepetu who had been found in possession of several rolls of bhang at their residence located along Kunduchi Uninio area.

She was given an option to spend a year in jail or part with a fine, but the unshaken Sepetu opted to pay a fine worth Tz Shs 2 million.

Sepetu was nabbed along with ten other Tanzanian celebrities who were ambushed by police in a massive anti-drug operation that saw the likes of Venessa Mdee, Chidi Benz and others summoned by police over the same.

The arrest of Sepetu sets a shaking ground for Tanzanian singer, Diamond Platnumz as numerous dramatic scenes continue to emerge around him and his love life each day that passes by.

Sepetu has been hitting involved with Diamond since the dramatic breakup with South African based Ugandan socialite, Zari Hassan ‘The Boss Lady’ in February this year. Zari gave Diamond’s unfaithfulness as reason for the Valentines Day break up.

Shortly after, Diamond Platinumz and Wema Sepetu posted on social media videos of them cuddling and acting romantic.
