“We wish to dedicate this award to the over one million customers of Stanbic Bank that we serve through our mainstream banking channels & FlexiPay; we thank you for your continued loyalty and support,” said Israel Arinaitwe, Head of Personal Banking.

He added: “Stanbic Bank is committed to transforming the customer service experience, by investing in self-service channels that give our clients the flexibility to access our services anywhere, anytime and at their convenience.”

Among the surprise winners was Rosewell Hospital which has been in the news following a High Court order for a DNA test on a newborn baby, Khryst Alinda, who was allegedly detained by the hospital after the child’s parents failed to pay Shs4m medical bills.

The parents of the baby, through their lawyer Geoffrey Turyamusiima, said they are not sure if the baby handed to them by the hospital was their actual child, prompting the order by High Court judge Esther Nambayo.

Despite the negative publicity, the hospital emerged as the best winner of this year’s edition of the Consumers Choice Awards under the category of “Best Women and Fertility Hospital”.

Broll Uganda emerged as the Platinum Winner in the category of “Best Real Estate Consultants & Developers in Uganda”.

“Our heartfelt appreciation goes to our valued clients for their unwavering trust in the Progressive Property People,” the company said on X (formerly Twitter).

Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) was voted the “best private university in Uganda”.

Hip Hop Snacks Uganda won gold in the “Best Snack Manufacturer and Brand”.

“This is a momentous achievement for the entire team working tirelessly behind the scenes. This award brings us closer to achieving our vision of being East Africa’s No.1 snack,” the company said.

Krystal Water Uganda was crowned the Gold Winner in the category of “Best Bottled Water”. “We are deeply grateful for your support and trust in the Krystal Water brand. Thank you for always choosing Krystal Water,” the company said.
